Everybody loves a chance to meet with friends and fellowship, right? Well, RAD's Coffee Break is the place to do just that and everyone is invited to come out for the fun.
RAD's Host, Don McLain (KB8RAD) started the weekly gathering as a way for the local Hams to get together, in an atmosphere which was not Club-related, so everyone would feel like they are welcome. It also gives attendees a chance to get to know their fellow Hams on a more personal level, sharing stories, laughter and good food, too! Also if you do have any Ham related questions there is always a wealth of knowledge there in the friendly people that attend and they will bend over backwards to get you answers!
As Don always says, "If you're a Ham, related to a Ham, want to be a Ham, or just like to eat Ham, everyone is welcome at RAD's Coffee Break." How do you get there? Glad you asked...
RAD's Coffee Break starts each Saturday evening at 7:30pm and is held at Denny's Resturant, 7330 W. Saginaw Hwy., in Lansing. You will find Denny's just west of the Lansing Mall and just east of Interstate 96.
Come as early as you want, stay as late as you want....good food, good fun, good friends. RAD's Coffee Break: If you're not here, the only thing we're missing is you!

Join the group some Saturday night on West Saginaw St. at Denny's restaurant in Lansing for good food, fun & fellowship. Ham radio isn't the only thing that is talked about here so your whole family is welcome! Come early or stay late but drop in and enjoy the fellowship of Hams & Non-Hams alike.
