will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 13, at Edgewood
United Church, 469 N. Hagadorn Road in East Lansing. Hopefully we
will have a good turnout from our members to bid Don farewell and
show support to the family.

We received word that Don passed away in his sleep Thursday Feb. 4th at the age of 95. Don played a major role in our Club over the years, so it is sad that he did not make it to see this historic moment. In view of his untimely passing, let us pause as we reflect on all that he and others like him have done through the years to make this Club what it is today.

It is people like Don who brought our club to where it is today, so my fellow CMARC members, let us all salute him as we bid him farewell and "73". We'll miss you Don!

With the passing of CMARC's Grand OM, I was reminded of one of my proudest moments, which was the night I was honored with the Ziegenbein Award in May of 2001. That night, I made sure to get my photo taken with Don, because he was in that original photo with Mr. Ziegenbein from the 1960's. It was an honor I will not forget and we will do our part to keep Don's memory and many contributions fresh. We will miss him, because he was one of a kind...a true gentleman always.
