Central Michigan Amateur Radio Club

The Central Michigan Amateur Radio Club is always planning, or doing something and this is the page where you can find information on lots of the activities. From SKYWARN, to ARPSC, to Special Meetings and VE Testing Sessions, you can find it all here. Of course, the VE information is also going to be on the 'VE Testing' page (to your left), but check this page often for updated announcements.

Lansing VE Team Under NEW Management...and a new VE, too!

It's official! Chris Reusch (AB8ZL) is our new VE Team Liaison for the Lansing VE Group. This news follows the "retirement" of Larry Nordeen (N8VEN), who served for nearly 10 years...and we thank Larry wholeheartedly for his work. Chris promises a friendly, QUIET atmosphere for candidates and we might even see some goodies on a regular basis for those who test with us.

We would also like to welcome our new VE Team Contact Person, Don McLain (KB8RAD). If you have any questions, regarding VE Sessions, you can call Don at 517-694-0812.

THE SCOPE IS NOW ONLINE!!!

It's here and it's ready to read! The SCOPE is now available in .PDF format for you to download and read to your heart's content. We are also planning to upload some of our earlier editions, so you can see the progress this great Club has made through the years. Go take a look and enjoy....it's located to your left under About Us!

CMARC Dues Are Due

It's that time of year again and dues for 2008 at CMARC are due. If you cannot make it to a CMARC meeting, you can either send in the membership application in the SCOPE, or download it here, print it out and send it in.

Those not renewing by February 1st will be dropped from the Club rolls, so please show your support for CMARC and join today. Thanks!

ARRL Membership Renewals/New Signups Help CMARC

Here is a painless way to help the Central Michigan Amateur Radio Club and help yourself at the same time. The ARRL is offering a portion of the fees we pay to be paid BACK to CMARC, if we sign up through the Club! New sign ups mean $15 stays here, in Lansing and renewals mean $2 stays here. We will have applications at the CMARC meetings for interested persons, so please see Erv, or Ron for a copy.

And one more side benefit of having members sign up with CMARC is that it will help us regain our status as a Special Service Club! So let's all get together and get an ARRL membership today!
